Hey you guys...

Sorry for the lack of excellent blog postage, but I am in the process of moving. Ehem...again. Yes that is right and no I am not a traveller and no, no I was not in "My big fat gypsy wedding". Stop it.
Good news is I am moving deeper into the Sussex countryside to live in my very own "Grey Gardens". (You will see soon enough).
Expect lots of pictures soon as moving in day is just around the corner. (This week!)
I will also be posting all the details on my NEW vintage furniture goodies too. I have recently purchased a duck egg blue SMEG fridge. (£350 bargain). God I am so smug about my Smeg you may even want to unfollow. Just the tip of the iceberg darlings. Besides all that jazz, I have been thrifting like a vintage lover posessed. I have found the ultimate vintage summer dress complete with Glee's Emma Pillsbury collars! Vintage swoon coming soon...

Emma Pillsbury's Gleefull Vintage Style!

Everybody is talking about new US tv show Glee. It has only just aired in the UK and after only seeing two episodes I am hooked and I along with all the other Gleeks cannot wait for the next episode. If you like musicals, high school drama, tits and teeth performances with jazz hands and you are cool, you will definitely love GLEE.

As well as all the great stuff I have listed above there is one character in particular who has caught my eye and I cannot wait to see the next Glee because I cannot wait to see her next outfit. I am talking about Emma Pillsbury or Miss Pillsbury to you, played by the lovely Jayma May. Jayma May has been in other US shows including; "Ugly Betty", "Heroes" and my fave "Pushing Daisies", but "Glee" is where she has come into her own.

Miss Emma Pillsbury is a neat freak with an obsessive compulsive disorder about hygiene. She is also the high school's guidance counselor who is inlove with Will Schuester who runs Glee club.
Miss Pillsbury wears bright colors, often together in a monochrome or contrasting ensemble. Her style is neat like her disorder and with a dash of bright preppy vintage style. Very Jackie O/Peter pan! Costume Designer Lou Eyrich has girls everywhere dreaming of matching sweater sets, a line skirts, flower broaches, and bows. She is also doing a pretty good job at bringing the sweater clip black. Hooray!

It doesn’t hurt that Emma is cute as a button!
