The Oscar goes to...Julia Boggio for wearing a Natasha Bailie Vintage Dress!

This picture is of the very talented photographer Julia Boggio. Julia recently photographed me along with two other vintage broads for a vintage photoshoot. Of course I took my fabulous vintage prom dresses along for the ride and Julia Fell in love with this lilac prom dress adorned with bows and puff sleeves.

Julia is an American who lives in London and loves the Oscars. On Sunday night Julia held an Oscar themed party complete with dress code and of course mini gold statues.  Julia tweeted throughout the night and twitpic-ed this image which she agreed I could flaunt and show off.

Dior Couture by John Galliano has a distinct Vintage Style!

John Galliano did not disappoint on the Haute Couture catwalks yesterday for Christian Dior. Inspired by the illustrations of René Gruau, whose work was synonymous with the French fashion house from 1947 onwards, the collection had a distinct vintage 40s and 50s feel to it. With cascading fabrics, sharp silhouettes and sculptured hems. 

I love everything from the length of the dresses to the opera length gloves! I cannot wait to see who will be wearing one of Galliano's DIOR creations come Oscar night.
