Valentino Retrospective Past/Present/Future

Since December the 22nd until the 13th February 2011, over 100 breathtaking haute couture gowns from the renowned designer Valentino are on display in a curated exhibition at Sentosa, Singapore. The Valentino Retrospective features gowns, looks and costumes from founder Valentino Garavani's early designs to present day creations by current creative directors Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pier Paolo Piccioli, who worked with Valentino for a decade before they were appointed their creative roles.
I am lucky enough to be living in Singapore and have been super excited about this particular exhibition and went along last week to eye spy some fabulous couture. Dresses on display included those worn by Hollywood Royalty and High Society dwellers from around the globe, such as Cate Blanchett, Nicole Kidman, Julia Roberts, Jennifer Aniston, Jackie Kennedy Onassis, Elizabeth Taylor and Audrey Hepburn.
