Oscars 2011: The Academy Awards Best Dressed Ladies

Hailee Steinfeld

Wearing Marchesa
 Salvatore Ferragamo shoes and clutch
 Fred Leighton jewels

I thought Hailee looked fresh and young which is great as the little one is only 14! Apparently she even helped Marchesa design her dream dress...watch out Victoria Beckham!

Michelle Williams

Wearing Chanel
Jimmy Choo Shoes
Harry Winston Jewels

I always love Michelle's red carpet looks. She looks elegant, sophisticated, very feminine with her pixie cut and at this years academy awards was compared to Audrey Hepburn!

Mila Kunis

Wearing Elie Saab
$500,000 worth of Neil Lane jewels
 and a Bottega Veneta clutch

Mila can do no wrong in my eyes. I loved this lacy lavender frock and her hair was in a beautiful low up do. Very soft and feminine.

Mandy Moore

Wearing Monique Lhuillier
Chopard jewels

Wow when I first saw Mandy Moore walk onto the red carpet I thought she had been spray painted in sparkles! I think this may be the best she has ever looked. Very Pretty!

Cate Blanchett

Wearing Givenchy Haute Couture by Riccardo Tisci
Van Cleef & Arpels jewels

Cate's dress had a huge effect on Twitter and on the red carpet. My Twitter feed was insane with 140 adoring characters. Cate looked amazing in this Givenchy Gown. The structure of this dress, the details made this dress a piece of art. Lady Gaga should take note. Flawless.

Scarlett Johansson

Wearing Dolce & Gabbana
Christian Louboutin shoes
Anna Hu jewels

Twitter and red carpet was a blaze about this plum lacy frock and the general feeling is that it was not showy enough for the academy awards darling. I however love, love, loved it. I am of course biased when it comes to Scarlett, but I love the delicate lace, the plum colour and her hair is loose and wavy making her look relaxed. What you cannot see from this picture is that the dress is backless...Who or what is holding up her chest?
I need it.

Reese Witherspoon

Wearing Armani Prive

I liked this look on Reese, she normally goes for very fluffy, girly frocks but this was almost a ladies take on a Tux. The classic black and white reminded me of the beautiful Valentino gown Julia Roberts wore when she won her oscar. This dress was classic on Reese, but her hair was fresh and bouncy and very Elle Woods which made this look fashionably fun and not so black and serious. Bravo.

Halle Berry

Wearing Marchesa

Loved this look on Halle. Ms. Berry has had a few mishaps recently on the red carpet and so it was nice to see her in a pretty frock that fitted her well and still showed off her amazing figure without her showing her inner thighs.

Florence Welch

Wearing Valentino

I love Florence's style so I love this lace and pleated ruffle hem dress by Valentino. I did at first compare her to a toilet doilly, but this dress grew on me. It is very romantic and what I have come used to seeing on Florence. No big surprises here.
