The Vintage "Princess Phone" ...Hello? Who is this?
Posted on 3:15 AM by follow me
We are now all settled into the countryside of Sussex. Everything is unpacked, I have met my new best friend - the Hurstpierpoint Postie and I have done several rounds at the local charity shop on the village high street. The Bailie's have landed. All I do need now though is to fill my new large house with retro and antique fabrics and furnishings. I am using the internet, searching flea markets, popping along to carboots but still not finding the right bits and bobs for my countryside retreat. Untill I came across the Crosley's "Princess phone" - It is amazing. It also comes in array of colours but every princess should have a pink phone no? The "Princess phone" was originally launched in 1959 when American families were starting to have more than one phone in a household. The PP phone was launched at women and teenagers as the company realised that a second phone would be placed in a bedroom or hallway...hence a pink phone. Thank god for pink princess phones...
I cannot wait to play secretary...Visit England at Home's website to buy your very own princess phone for just £39.99!!
