I thought I'd share some pictures of Emma's work in progress so you guys will know that I'm keeping my promise and working on one room at a time. Don't you love her new hanging light fixture? I went shopping in my basement for that one. That's the same place I found this peg rack that I painted and hung above her (still) unpainted bookshelves. I'm actually having a paint crisis because I'm not loving the white paint that I used and I'm wondering if any of you can recommend a good white to use on furniture and share what finish (eggshell, semigloss, etc.) that you prefer. I absolutely despise painting furniture, which is a shame since there is so much of it sitting around waiting to be painted. I'd like to get it right the first time.

New bedding is on the way, furniture should be painted in the next 2 weeks, new shelf installed above her closet, art work completed & hung and then it's on to another room. Deciding which one is the hard part. I know one thing for sure, it will be a room that someone over the age of 7 will actually see.
