A Rose By Any Other Name...

Posted on 9:15 PM by follow me

A few weeks ago, when I shared my unintentional
collection of Royal Winton's Rose Brocade (sorry
I had to use the link instead of a picture since I
already deleted them all! OOOps!) in the light blue
colorway. I was really happy that so few of you had
ever seen it...because it's fun to share something
new! And so many of you asked me about the other
colorways I had mentioned that I thought I might
as well give you a little look-see!

Naturally, my faaaavvv is the Baby Pink!
It is the perfect pink color and also the
Rosebud shape with the footed teacup
just makes it even cuter!

See the rosebud on the handle? On other patterns
the rosebud has been painted so it stands out more,
but I know it's there, that's all I need! ;)
This is the only piece of Baby Pink that I own, I
have never been able to find more, so I am
guessing that it wasn't produced in great abundance.

Unlike the Cranberry, which is the color
you are more than likely to find on Ebay...
or anywhere else. This is such a great color
for setting a winter or Valentines table.
(with Ruby Flash goblets...eeeeeeeek!
You'd love it!!).

(Glitter cannot really be used as sugar, please
don't try this at home, I am a trained professional!).

My edgy shot...one day it will get me on
American Nobodies !

There is also a lime green color, I only have one
saucer and it does not want to be found...sorry
about that. It's actually really neat and would
look great on a green & white summer table!

So, there you have a Rose Brocade primer.
Besides Summertime, it seems to be one of
the patterns that is still readily available
on Ebay...and with a little patience you can
get is for a song too! Happy hunting!
