When One Door Closes

I've long been fascinated by doors- french, vintage, screened, dutch. Since I was a little girl from the wrong side of the tracks, delivering newspapers to the right side of the tracks. That girl would often wonder what life was like on the other side of those doors.

That little girl who had the audacity to tell her Momma that she was born to belong to a country club.

That little girl who didn't know better than to dream big. That girl grew up and is still dreaming big, still wondering what is behind those doors. Still determined to see for herself. That girl still has a child like wonder every time she throws open a new door expectantly waiting to see what awaits her.
