Embroidery Favorites
Posted on 4:15 AM by follow me
I've been pulled to embroidery since last year's welcome night at Silver Bella. There was something about sitting in a room with all of these other women and doing hand stitching and talking and laughing. It was bonding. It gave me a new understanding of quilting bees. So ever since then I just want to sit and stitch although sadly, I've had very little time for it this last year.
In working on my swaps for Silver Bella I find myself pulling out the needle and thread and referencing these books a lot. And while I love the styles in the top 2 books, this children's book has the hands down, best explanation of how to actually do the stitches. I've always suspected I had a childlike way of thinking and I'm pretty sure this confirms it.
If you have an embroidery, or any craft book that you love, I'd love to know what it is.
