A Work In Progress....
Posted on 12:01 PM by follow me
Bee's living/dining room
(I deleted the pictures so I had go the cheater
route and just give the old links, sorry!)
Then, you got to see how
A little paint
turned into carpet, tile, etc. etc.
(I do hope I did these links right...I
neeeeeeever seem to get them quite
right... : 0 )
It's still a work in progress, but I thought
I'd give you a taste of what's going on...

Here's the new tile...

yes, it does look a lot like the old tile...
but we don't discuss that, and you won't
either...if you know what's good for you!

The new paint color, carpet and moulding....
very niiiiiice.

The hutch full of chintz has been tamed a bit...
And I know it's really hard to see, but the back of thehutch has been painted a pale pink.

The now curtainless windows....she was thinking shutters...
then she was thinking, not...
it's an on-going quandry, as of yet unsolved.

Two little Repasy's brought out into the open...
and Bee repainted the frames then used pinkas the highlight color...I love the look!

This used to have a glass-doored cabinet on it
and now it is starting its new life as a buffet.

More of the new wall color...since it looks
different from every angle!!!!
(And another Repasy...this room had become
the Repasytorium!)

This....

and this, have become...

this....(that couch is not long for this world either!)
and this!! (Pardon the "Boxes of Love" everywhere!!)There is still work to be done, but as you can see,
she is moving away from the french country look
she had to a more subdued beachy airy feel.
More pictures when it's all done!!!
