Vintage on line

A friend at work gave me a magazine called
Healthy Eating or Natural Eating or something
like that (uh, I like my potatoes fried and my
"greens" in the shape of a Skittle or M & M!)
So, that magazine was completely LOST on me...
but it did get me to thinking..."what was that
magazine that mom used to get...hmmmm...the one
with all those AMAZING comforty-food-kinda-
recipes...hmmmm.....hmmmmm...."
After rifling through my mental card catalogue
for quite a while(it takes A LOT longer than it
used to!!!) I finally remembered! It was called

TASTE OF HOME
Have any of you heard of it???????????????
(friendly tip: DO NOT look at it when PMS-ing
or just generally hungry or you will be making
a shopping list longer than a Slip-n-Slide!!!)

And after I took this little trip down memory
lane, I had to find their web site and I discovered
that right now they are giving away a
free issue of one of their many off-shoot
magazines AND they are having a drawing
for a $30,000 Dream Kitchen
Makeover!!!!!!!!

I feel like an "info-mmercial" here...but if you have
never seen this magazine before, it's just the sweetest
thing...very uplifting, small town America (which is most
of America!), it just plain makes you feel good! And I am
all about that lately!!!!
