Mad Men Dress Making Course!
Posted on 3:51 AM by follow me
Make Betty Draper jealous and learn how to make your very own couture 60s summer dress. This could be the party dress for a wedding or special occasion or as a lovely summer day dress.
In the MAD MEN class you will learn how to alter a pattern, sew and finish your dress using couture techniques and wear it with style! You will also have your own pattern to take away with you so that you can make lots more. YES!
You choose your own fabric for this class, you will need approximately 3m (sewoverit will send you the specific requirements) of lightweight cotton. So that your shopping list is simple, sew it over will provide you with zips, linings and interfacings!
This class is not a beginner class. Although no dressmaking experience is required, you must be able confident using a sewing machine. If you need some more practice why not go to one of their sewing goddess intro classes first or drop by and practice in the sewing cafe?
Cake and tea are provided to help the sewing process along!
