 Our Emma loves to read. She will read in any position. And in any place. Even her favorite antique store.


 She will even sneak a book and a book light in when we go snuggle under a quilt and the stars to watch a movie being projected on the side of a barn.


She reminds me of Rory in Gilmore Girls because she always has a book with her. Often more than one. She always says, you never know when you are going to have a few minutes to read.
She believes in being prepared.


 There are only a couple of times she can be caught without a book, like when she is on a horse.


 Of course, as soon as she is off that horse there is probably a book in her hands. There isn't even time to take off the riding helmet.


 She puts the book down long enough to practice her violin. Though, if you look closely, you can see it is lying on the cushion next to her just waiting until practice is over.


 Clearly she can't be blamed for this habit. It is apparently hereditary.
