Sorry I disappeared like that but I've had a crazy week. I think I suffer from volunteeritis, otherwise known as the inability to say no to a worthy cause or person. Do any of you suffer from this affliction too? I've been helping out this week in Emma's school setting up for the book fair, working in the classroom and doing work for a committee that I chair. We also had a dinner for a visiting professor that Sweet Hubby is working with and to top it all off I've managed to get sick.

The good news is that it's given me the chance to stop this weekend and enjoy laying around on the sofa reading Garden Spells by Sarah Addison Allen. I've only read about 100 pages so far but I have to say that it is one of the best books I've read in ages, so full of colorful characters and scenery. It's hard to put down but at the same time I don't want to rush through it because something tells me that I will miss these characters after I've turned the last page. Go out and get it. I give it my highest recommendation.
