Why I Don't Sew, By M

Posted on 6:52 PM by follow me

There is a very simple answer to that...
when it comes to sewing I'd make a better
taxidermist than a seamstress!

Now, I know that on our blogs we like to
show the cute things we have made,
particularly where our talents truly lie...
Well, I thought I'd mix it up a bit and go
against the grain show you what I can't do...
SEW!
Bee & Kae are great seamstresses...our grand
mother & great grandmother were phenomenal...
I, on the other hand, am a mutant...that gene
passed me right by...and how!

So, I now humble myself in the sight of the
blogosphere and give you a few laughs to relieve
the holiday stress that is already building...
(you'll need a tissue...tears will ensue!)

No, a 3 year old did not make these...

Wide ankles, anyone???
And, really, how hard can it be to make
the corners rounded...mine all have bunions
and other various and sundry foot ailments!

This was when the bobbin thingie kept unraveling
and thread just came spitting out of every hole on
the machine...my solution would have been to
throw it out the window...alas, it was Bee's machine!

There you go...and this is why I am heavily into the
glue gun and the glitter...and not the Gingers!!!!! :)
